Colt Army Special 32-20 WCF

Today after over 20 years in my gun safe, I took the above entitled handgun out to the range for the first time. I used a thrown together handload, and I was delighted with nice small round groups, albeit not to the sights. Does anybody know the load Colt used to sight these things back in the day. I figure if I can duplicate that, I will be in good shape. [image]

Charles thats nice colt & brings memories of the first good revolver that I shot. It wasa 4 inch army special 32-20 also. I have a 5 in with a official police bbl on a 1923 rev. now & a 6 in s&w also a 7.5 saa. I guess I have a weakness for 32-20s . good luck John

Looks like an awful lot of fun. Sorry I cannot help you with load data, but am another fancier of 32/20 revolvers. Should be an interesting project to match a load to point of aim, or find a load that will do what you want and shoots well out of your gun, then regulate the sights to match it.

A fun cartridge, of which I have a few...enjoy
