Hadn't shot any of my N frame .357s for some time and had some reloads I wanted to shoot any way so I dragged out a 27. Not a big fan of nickel, but they can be pretty.

Great looking Smith - Nickel looks good but I hate it on the front sight.

I have a 5" nickel 27 that got picked up in a deal several years ago. Have only shot it a couple times, the bright front sight is tough to see well and I am scared of doing something to cause the plating to lift, so it is basically a safe queen. Have a NIB, unfired nickel 29 with a 4" barrel from the early 80s that was too good of a deal to pass up also. Figure they are a better investment than money in the bank, even if I never shoot them.
