Got the old broom out a few days ago. Hadn't shoot it in a few years. Bought this back in the 80's when a bunch came into the country. Bore was gone but gun was fine. Had it rechambered for 38 Super and it still shoots good. There is just someting about the looks that is interesting and fun to shoot.

What was the original chambering?

Did you have to do anything else to it to make it work with .38 Super?

The only thing was to rechamber it. The semi-rimmed 38 Super cases work fine, and the 38 Super Comp rimless cases work even better, as will 9x23 cases (brass, not the ammo). I can only load 5 Super cases to avoid misfeeds due to the rim but the Comp cases feed from a full mag. I does sling the brass into the next zip code.

That just about has to be the most unusual .38 Super I've ever heard of!
