.22 Ammo

The discussion about the S$W Model 18 brought a question to mind - Does anyone know a good place to find .22 LR ammo at an unreasonable but still less than insane price? I don't even see the stuff for sale around here. I've got a couple of nice .22s that I'd like to bring to CSA, but I don't want to shoot up all my ammo.

I have some "RARE and HARD TO FIND" 22LR Bulk ammo I will sell cheap for only $75 /500, plus shipping, handling and ammo shortage gouging fees.

Seriously, Norman had some "Federal Lightning" he offered me at $30 a brick if you are interested, I can get it and send it with Tom. Then we can catch up on payment after he sees you in AR.

Let me know.

Luckily i have purchased "Sales" over the years and have several thousands of misc and sundry things to feed mine.

Less than 1/2 a box of the ammo left, that will produce minute of squirrel ear groups at 50 with my 10" octagon barreled Contender. And that is at yards not feet. Everything else I have will barely hold a group that would stay on the head if perfectly centered by me and that ain't likely to happen.

22 LR ammo supplies as they are the single shot is a good thing. No speed shooting like the Buckmark could produce.

I feel sorry for parents that got their kids a 10-22 blastomatic. They could spend serious money on an afternoon of absolutely no time spent on developing marksmanship.

Louis, I will take you up on a brick of the Federal Lightning. If you can pass it to Tom I will get it from him at CAS and send payment back by him.

Better still, why don't YOU come to Arkysaw and I'll get it from you direct. Long time no see, ol' bud. I'll even let you shoot a few rounds from a mighty purty fake 03-A3 I talked a feller out of once upon a time.....
