What do these go for on the average? A friend has a friend whose relative died and left it to her. She wants to sell it. I might or might not be interested. Would any of you?

for less than $500 in a few years.
If it is as nice as it looks in the pic

$500 minimum. Retail, probably closer to $600.
NIce! Very desirable gun.

Don't take a penny less than $600. If it has the box and papers, $700. I kick myself for passing on a pre-18 K22 for $575 about a year ago.

I picked one up one Gunbroker a couple of years ago with the 3Ts. I believe it ran a bit over $500 then. Great revolver.

IMHO, every guncrank ought to have at least one .22 Masterpiece, just to have a benchmark to judge any other .22 handgun by. It is called the Masterpiece for a very good reason.
That looks like a very nice one!

Thanks guys
At one time in my life I would have absolutely had to have it. But then my Single Six would get neglected. You will see this on Gunbroker soon along with a Model 48 with a 6 inch barrel. Both are in excellent condition.
Bob

Good idea.

A silent auction would work well. And then there would be no fees pulled out of the sale price.
If you want a 4" K frame 22
by Charles, Friday, March 07, 2014, 16:57 (3920 days ago) @ Bob Hatfield
They are as good as they get. I have had several over the years, but never managed to hold on to one long term. They are great sixguns, but I already have many 22s I can't buy ammo for, I don't want another.
Those things are gooder than good...

I have no idea how I ever survived life without one now that I have one.
