Sand all the checkering off and make the sides flat
I have thought of that but the Magna shaped grip I sort of want to try, I like how they feel but I have never spent much time with that style of grip. If is was inclined to massage these grips they would be good canadates for it. This gun was at some point clearly a duty weapon, the front sight is actually worn round on the right side of the sight, minor pits, holster wear, somewhat beat up grips bit still ok condition. I just don't know how I feel about modifying them.
