I had asked for the prayers of the group here for my old comrade in arms, Sgt. Billy Willey after had suffered a very serious stroke at age 53 and was just about to cross over.

The news as of yesterday is that he is out of the dark woods, but still in some scattered timber so to speak. He will survive. I thank God for that. He is breathing on his own, has longer and longer periods of alertness, can not yet speak (may never speak), but has some increasing hand and arm movement. He has been out of ICU, and is about to be moved from short term care to a more long term facility close to family. Things are not where we want them, but they are so much better than what we had feared. Billy is a fighter, and whatever he can do, he will do. No doubt about that part. Other than that it is in God's hands. Thank you all.
