I have met George here in Walla Walla a time or two, his wife is from this area. They used to be in Idaho. Actually knew his dad, who was also a stock maker and duplicator down in California.
You are right, nice fellows the both of them, but I am going to go with Dave Crossno. He does excellent work, and is highly regarded by the folks in ASSRA. Also, his prices for turning customer's wood is less than half of what Treebone charges.
I hate to make it sound like I'm looking for the lowest prices on everything. I don't want to buy junk, nor am I interested in saving a buck and scrimping on quality. But if I can find what I'm interested in AND save some money....well, it makes the whole project more palatable to the pocketbook.
