Pulling these bullets...or maybe I should say I was going to.
I guess I'll recover the lead cores...

Throw them in with my casting lead and then pull the jackets. These are a bit hotter than I want to try in my GP100!
I ran into that same problem . . .

. . . with some .357 Maximum rounds I acquired in a "package" buy. The reload info I got with them scared me to death, so I decided to pull the bullets and start over. The first three I tried to pull with the intertia (hammer) type puller resulted in the same thing you show, and I was afraid I'd break the puller. Fortunately, there were only a dozen or so that were questionable, so I just cut the cases off behind the bullets, dumped the powder, and scrapped the rest. Hated to lose the brass and bullets, but . . .
Very strange. I'd never have believed it if I hasn't seen it myself.
I'm gonna try to find a bolt...

To use as an easy-out and if that doesn't work I'll try a self tapping screw through the bases. Probably more work than its worth but I just HATE loosing to an inanimate object! :)
Have you tried seating them deeper to break them loose?

That trick works well for bullets with sealant. Never tried it otherwise.
Yeah...pushed one in about 1/16" but it

Didn't work. I have 27 cores now. I have an 8mm bolt threaded into one of the cores. I think its gonna work but I'll have to wait till work is done. Power came back on at the shop and interrupted my project:)

I'd just shoot out the jackets! Accuracy probably won't be so hot but the velocities ought to be impressive!!!
Of course, I'm kidding... Kind of...
I thought about it...

But decided it might not be best. 17.5 grains of Lil'Gun...From what John K said about heavy loads of L'G and light bullets toasting a forcing cone, it might not be healthy for the gun. Reminded me of Jim Taylor shooting those ACP cases out of my his/my old .475 Linebaugh:)
Maybe you just need to buy a M27...

True that!

Or a full sized Blackhawk, but I'd rather have a pre- lock 27 any day.
Talk about neck tension...photo

Wow, I would cut the cases to dump the powder, kill the primers and scrap it all. Not worth trying to salvage IMHO.
Brand new Starline brass:)

See video above. Got it down to a science now, supper's done, dishes washed and diving back into it:)
