I finally have a Ruger 22/45 that works......
I have the lightweight model. I did the same parts swap and also purchased a replacement for the loaded chamber indicator . It is a flat replacement and it makes the gun easier to clean. Sadly the new gun is not near as accurate as my original 22/45 but it goes bang every time. J.Michael
