Happy Veterans Day to those who served.
Here are a couple of pictures of My Grandfather who passed away this July.
Bennie C. Mize. U.S. Army WWII ETO 12/1944-1946, 69th ID 273 and 272nd Reg. He was a sharpshooter and carried a 1903A4 through some of the War.

On his way home in 1946, you can see the base of the Statue of Liberty in the background. The photographer missed it.

Thanks for sharing those Jared. Those old photographs carry a lot of meaning. I have very few of my grandfather, but treasure each of them.
