I was almost believing it could be a factory gun, then noticed how far forward the barrel address was. I'm guessing a cut down 8 incher.

...they do nothing to vet.sellers, and you can get burned.

The voice of experience

Oh, I hate it, but it does work.

Anytime I post anything on there, I can be assured of a half dozen idiots replying, and then another half dozen scammers. There are also many "experts" with a Blue Book who are quick to give you advice on how high your price is.

I have also had some good experiences, and met a few guys that are regular trading buddies now.

In fairness to Armslist...

...when what happened to me happened, they were most apologetic and as cooperative as they could be to help me get my situation resolved (a year later, I'm still working towards a resolution). During the course of our conversations, the president of the company (a very nice fellow, and a fan of Gunblast), admitted that they don't do anything to vet sellers or verify anything, and that scammers are rampant over there. So I shy away from it.

I found an interesting rifle on that site that was said to

by AkRay, Thursday, November 07, 2013, 22:00 (3977 days ago) @ Boge Quinn

be owned by someone in my own town. I contacted the number and waited for a reply. After several days I got an answer in not very good English, telling me that as soon as I sent my money, the rifle in question would be packaged and sent to me. What happened was that someone, maybe from a foreign country, took a picture and description from gunbroker, and posted it as their own rifle in expectation of getting some poor sap's money. I can look on it right now and see other ads about "guns for sale somewhere in Alaska" posted by the same type of crooks.
