The 870 SP right before you posted this. I'm a believer in short barrel shotguns as well. I had an 870 Wingmaster someone had cut down and installed a dial-a-choke of sorts on (Poly Choke?). It shot slugs dead center at 100 yards into about 3-4" (and for a bead sight I thought that was tremendous!) and I could pop clays with it pretty consistent. Wish I'd never let it go. I'm gonna replace it when the right used 870 pops up for the right price.
