Yes, they were. I had a very high condition one in an estate of antiques I helped a family move some time back. I really wanted it, but it was too expensive for me to keep. I think it was in .44 Merwin Hulbert, so ammo would have been a bit more of a problem than the one in the auction.
I really wish the new company would be able to get guns produced. I would do my best to buy at least one. I like MHs second only to Schofields!
