My friend had a table at the show today. He said the crowd wasn't what it usually is for the first gun show of the fall and that there didn't seem to be much selling activity happening. I'm sure that some of the vendors did well because some always do, but his impression is that not much was going on. He thinks that the Federal Government shutdown has a lot to do with it. I'll find out if things are the same here in Fairbanks in a couple of weeks.
