7.62 brass with 209 shotshell primers?

This was posted on a local forum. A guy got a box with some rifle brass that had been set up to use 209 shotshell primers. I assumed it was a home made deal but he posted pics and it looks like a factory job to me with the way the head stamp is anyone have any experience with this?
