so I made one. Sure is small and light!
Needs more cipherin' on sights. Would prefer a peep. Maybe some Tech Sights.

left mine with the std barrel for at least the moment.

Went all out to keep this one compact. The 5" barrel ought to keep regular HV bulk pack subsonic - if not, I will keep chopping 1/2" off and re-threading until it does.
What stock is that, anyhoo?

Sights n' such for a SBR
by Catoosa, Thursday, September 19, 2013, 21:31 (4088 days ago) @ John K.
A light/laser combo would add a lot of versatility to that gun, especially for night duty. Got my 1022 set up with that for after dark, and a low powered scope for day.

Good idea, but kinda large for this setup. Leading me to think about a forward rail with a light or laser underneath the barrel with irons on top.

I like it!
I think my next stamp will be to SBR my M&P 15-22.
Thanks, Cannon! Lots of utility in the small packages.

Very cool! I keep kicking around the idea of something similar. Like so many projects, I just keep dragging my feet!
A coue years ago, I was able to shoot a similar looking little guy, but it was a post-86 dealer sample converted to an open bolt full auto! The trigger was pretty heavy, but it ran through several fifty rounders as smooth as could be! It was fun dumping a whole mag On a steel plate, sounded like the lunch bell at high school!!
I've seen the open bolt posties; they are supposed to be

fairly easy to make. Might do that on the next one...
John, have you figured out what sling mount it would take
by stonewalrus, Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 22:12 (4082 days ago) @ John K.
For a single point sling on that stock? I'm at a loss.
