CZ Pistols

Haven't posted in some time. Kind of gun shy after I was smacked down after my question about 10 round mags. Any way I realy did not like my Glock and sent it down the road. Had Sigs in the past but am not sure I want to tie up that much money for a semi auto(am really a revolver guy). But for home defense and a truck gun I probably should have one. So after all of that I have been looking around and kind of like the looks of the CZ line. Any one have any experience as to reliability and also how the double and single action trigger is compared to Sig?

Thanks in advance

triggers. If not for the Commander in .45 a CZ 75 would be tops for every day carry for me.

I am particularly fond of the CZ-75.
A CZ-75 loaded with 9bple and I would feel as secure as with any thing else you hold in one hand when it comes to self defense.

9bple

Still have a couple boxes left over from my brief foray into law enforcement. If I have to carry a 9, I'm a lot more confident if I can have 9bple ammo. Wonderfully hot stuff, ever fire it in the dark?

I've been shooting a CZ 75

...CZ75 Sp01 Shadow that is in USPSA Production for maybe 3 years now and have never had a malfunction (well I've had two, but both were from clearly out of spec deformed ammo).

Stock I don't know if there's much difference between the SIG CZ triggers. I've done a lot of work to bothe of mine and I still don't know if there's much difference between the two. :)

I've got two CZ-75's in 9mm and I consider them to be first rate handguns right up there with my Sig 226's and 220. They are accurate, reliable (as one would expect for a handgun that was the service weapon for a lot of countries), handle really well (The only handgun that feels better to me is a Browning Hi-Power), and are durable. All steel and made with true craftsmanship. On my CZ's, the trigger pull is not quite as good as on my Sigs, with the single action CZ triggers having some creep and a bit heavier than the Sigs. The CZ triggers are still very useable and better than a lot of handguns, just not quite as good as a Sig, which have superb triggers for a combat auto.

I'd buy another CZ-75 in a heartbeat if I found one at a good price.

My two cents.....

I have the Italian Tanfoglio (Witness) copy - awesome

Design. I hear great things about the Turkish Tristar copy. They can be had cheap at Academy Sports.
