I need to get a copy of that book and one of his Bowies. He went with us on our Del Rio hunting trip and I got to know him pretty well. He sharpens a knife with a plain India stone and showed me how to do it. I have spent countless hours practicing and can't seem to get it so I just use my Spyderco sticks. They work well but not as well as he does it:)
