Aucton Fever

I was sorting through my old solid Pacific Ram shell holders and found 4 duplicates, so I put them up for sale on Ebay. These things go begging for $5.00 each, so I bundled them all together and offered free shipping to get somebody to bite. I thought, I might get $5.00 apiece that way, but would settled for anything over the cost of postage.

Two guys got in a bidding war and ran the price up to $51.00 before it was over. You just never can tell what strikes somebody's fancy!

Some years ago we held a church garage sale and we picked up the stuff from one guy who later came down. He saw a brown paper bag in his stuff, and said "My gosh that is just the dirt from the garage I swept up and in that sack to throw away.

I stapled the sack close and wrote on it.."Garage Dirt" with a price tag of 50 cents. It sold in less than an hour after we opened.

Oh man!

to blow out my garage. I gotta get me my own bag of garage dirt though. Maybe at 50 cent a bag we could make enough money to buy some primers !!!!

That's pretty fair for "good" garage dirt.

Although, I must say, the quality of dirt in recent years seems to be falling off. Why, back in my Dad's day, we had some dirt, let me tell you...

Good story Charles. Thanks

The only thing better is 'Belly Button Lint'

Depending on the belly button, of course... :eyepopping:
