Hobie

You may want to specify whether you want a .690 mold for a 12 gauge or a .678 mold for a 69 caliber musket using a patch.

A Lee .690 will cast a nice ball out of wheelweights for a smoothbore. Fairly cheap also. A .678 you'll find from someone the NSSA site.

Good point. I'm going to be using the ball in a .75 caliber musket.

You will be able to make good use of thick denim from old jeans.

Of which we have plenty!

I have a .715" ball mold. Just wanted to try the next size down/more traditional size ball. I want to shoot this gun more. Going to order more BP as well. Need it to work for both this gun and my .45-75 so I've been doing a lot of thinking on that. Any suggestions?
