Over here in redneck country, a short-sleeve fishing shirt is the style, worn tails-out. Unless it's blistering hot, it can be worn unbuttoned over a t-shirt (with appropriate artwork of course). That will conceal most anything a fellow would need to carry. Combat Commander in a strongside pancake for me most of the time, but a j-frame in the pocket when it gets much above 90 degrees.
