After 53 years of use, my Wilson case trimmer cutter is going back home to be sharpened. They get $15.00 dollars, which includes return postage to do this. Off it goes!

I think you got your money's worth, and $15 bucs today is a deal for a "new" trimmer.

The only trimmer I own.

I didn't discover L.E. Wilson case trimmers until about 15 or 20 years ago. I read about them in the book 'The Accurate Rifle' and decided to give one a try.

Over the years, I've acquired one for every rifle caliber I load for. I shop the auction sites and grab em' where I can for sometimes next to nothing. You simply can't go wrong with a Wilson case trimmer. Case after case after case, if you're looking for all your brass to come out exactly 2.030, then Wilson is the only way to go.

I have been trying to find out if they still sharpen them but saw nothing on their website and searches turned up nothing. I bought one and the cutter was really sharp when you run your finger over it, but if you try to trim a case you can push till the cows come home and get nothing. It was sharpened by someone but the angle is all wrong and it is like trying to trim with the blade turning backwards. Do you just send them to the Washington address?

I sent them an email asking about resharpening the cutter and they responded with the price and address for mailing: customerservice@lewilson.com
