Since summer varmint season is upon us.....
...I thought I'd share this photo to kind of set the mood. Arizona jack rabbit and a stainless NM Ruger Blackhawk converted to .44 Special. This jack was taken with a Keith SWC over 10.0 grains of HS-6 (~1000 fps).

the night before last... walking home on her retractable 26' lead, she suddenly jumped into the crazy, fast-handle running for which brittanies are known. Ten seconds later, she approached me with rabbit in mouth, and dropped it at my feet on command. Good girl!

Ground squirrels in the Pacific Northwest, in an old stumpfield in the mountains. S&W Model 14 with Keith HPs at about 1000 fps.
