First trip to the range
Took the new 375 Ruger out this morning, ran a full box of shells through it. It shot about 3 1/2" low at 50 yards with the express sights. First 3 shot group were all inside 3/4", the groups opened up especially as the sun climbed overhead, became more difficult to see the bead, too much glare in he bright New Mexico sun. Recoil was peppy, but not near as bad as my 300 Win Mag, more snap than the H&H, but I'd rather shoot it than a 338 any day. I can't wait to put a scope on it, I think it has some serious accuracy potential. I will try some 270gr Spire Points next time out.
