That is just wrong. It is so maddening that the norm is now to destroy "crime" guns rather than let them go to a lawful owner. Which of us wouldn't have been proud to tote that fine pre-war Heavy Duty?

I stpend enough time at the shop logging the guns in, stripping them and cutting the frames in half. Makes me SICK some of the ones we get in.

With the difficulty in getting good internals for the long actions, part of me is happy someone will be able to bring back to life one or more nice guns, it is still just crazy that a.) some dimwit used a nice piece like that for a crime instead of something else, and 2.) it was destroyed instead of sold and enjoyed by a citizen.
