When Did .32-20 Ammo Get to Be So Expensive

Have been looking for .32-20 ammo to feed an S&W K-frame and in anticipation of acquiring a Marlin 1894. The stuff is priced at over $0.80/round. What the heck? When did it become so expensive?

When everything else did. (nm)

Factory-ammo-wise, the 'good old days' are pretty much over

I'd say we had about 25 years of relatively 'cheap' factory ammunition, but things went South, and prices went skyward, during the Crisisaka, 'Election'of 2008.

In many ways, it's like the 1970s all over again. Ammo prices are just one example, and I don't see them returning to 'normal' any time soon.

I think incomes will have to catch up for that to happen, and in terms of ammo-buying-capacity, that took at least a decade last time around.

was back in 2001, the good ol' days, and it was 40+bucks then! 25/20 just as bad.
