I was out of Rapid Polish and Flitz, so while out and about today I stopped in a local auto parts store and picked up some Mother's Mag Polish, thanks for the tip. Now the question...since Mothers is a paste, how in the hell do you add it to the tumbling media??? Just scoop out a small clump and drop it in? Add some water to a small amount to thin it out and pour it in?? Curiously awaiting the answer, thanks.

Scoop out a heaping tablespoon and drop it in the media. Now reach in and mash it around until the clump is broken up. Run the tumbler without brass to spread it around. Repeat the mashing part if clumped.

Never tried thinning it, but if it will thin with water or mineral spirits, that might be a better route.

I think the brass ends up "slicker" afterwards also. Sizes easier.
