We all have challenges in our lives....

We all have challenges in our lives. Imagine if you will, that you woke up one morning and you couldn’t feel your feet because both of your legs were numb from the knees down; or if you had to ask your spouse to dress you because your fingers didn’t work well enough to button up your shirt; or if you couldn’t recognize who was sitting at the kitchen table with you because major portions of your vision were blocked by large floating black spots; or you really, really wanted to say something, but the speech center in your brain just couldn’t find or process the words. These are all things that Lenita has had to deal with since she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) 20 years ago. She is doing pretty well today because she is an amazing woman who has worked hard to fight this battle to maintain her health, and because she and her doctors have pursued a long-standing and aggressive treatment plan. These treatments have only been possible because of the tireless research that has been carried out over the years to develop these medicines. These medicines are good, but they are not enough. We need more. There are promising new candidates on the horizon, but more work is needed before they can be brought to market. Lenita and I are helping to raise money so that this research can be carried out, soon, so these treatments can help make a difference in the lives of MS patients everywhere. I am asking you to click on the link below and make a donation to the MS Society. No donation is too large or too small, every little bit helps. Please help us make a difference!
