"Stripped of their budget" doesn't sound like a sufficient response. What head has rolled ? Will anyone do anything about it ? Clearly govt people with an agenda will do what they want and ask for forgiveness later (if ever). They will keep doing this, and the Fed's too, until someone high up really has to pay a price for it. No more gun laws.

Easy fix for this, no permit should be needed. NM

That list shows who many in the government fear the most - the armed, law abiding citizen with at least some sense of self reliance. That type of person is the statist's worst enemy.

Au contraire part deux...

The really independent don't need no stinkin' licenses it is those that wish to be able to toe the line that get them.

One thing I have learned over the years is people in power will abuse that power unless people with more power prevent them from doing so. The ultimate power is in the people, but they are in such disarray and disagreement these days, they can't get their act together to deal with anything. That a Missouri state agency could repeatedly violate Missouri law is just a symptom of a larger problem. Time for Missouri to fire the governor for not doing his job. I don't care what is his political party, he needs to go.

Amen
