the old insurance commercials (Geico?). We have a guy at work who must have served as a model for the cavemen. Overly sensitive & very narcissistic. Always perfectly groomed, he actually sits at his desk & trims his arm hair with a razor blade while on the phone. It drive him nuts to see one hair higher than the others. It's kind of creepy in a way. I think of this guy every time I hear the word "metrosexual". He's not gay by any means, and has about a half dozen kids between his current & ex-wives.

David Beckham, Joe Namath, Oscar Wilde, etc. are role models for guys who read vanity magazines and aspire to be like these icons. Guys who drive big trucks that haven't left the pavement might qualify here, or dudes who wear duck boots that have never seen mud.
