I found that my Browning 1885 Traditional Hunter prefers the 2.125" Starline brass, so I thought I would clear out the new Winchester 38-55 cases that I had stored away. There are 190 new, unused cases. 3 unopened bags of 50 each, and 40 loose cases (I may be able to find the other ten, but so far their ability to hide is better than my ability to find them....).

Anyway, I'd like to get $80 shipped for them.

I can be emailed at: jaydee4570 at comcast dot net

Thanks!!!

JD.....you could also go pick you up a 375Win and shoot that short stuff in it ! That's what I ended up doing as I had approx. 500 rds of the stuff. The 2.125 brass also works great in the Marlin 38/55 Cowboy as the necks are thinner to accept a .379 diameter CB.

Bud, I'd love to add another rifle, but...

I really like my Browning Traditional Hunter 1885. Classy single shot with good sights. Its' bore diameter is 0.3755, so I cast bullets and size to 0.376. Most Marlins that I've seen run 0.379 to 0.380 bore diameter, and I don't really want to have to keep two different size cast bullets separated (I'm trying to simplify a bit..). I'm selling this Winchester brass so I don't have to keep it separated from the 2.125" Starline brass.

Another rifle is tempting, but I'm running out of room for more...

Can't argue with that JD....

You are right about the Marlin...the throats are big and the bore is .379+ Until I got that 2.125 Starline brass, it didn't shoot for beans. I paper patch my .371 sized 250 gr CB's up to .380 and this thing will really shoot now thanks to the thin necks on the starline brass. It is a pain to keep 'em separate, but I never take them out shooting together, so its not too bad.
