shell ejection on mini 14 question
Actually that was more like 25-30 feet. My first guess is that you need a stronger recoil spring in it. You might take it down and check to see if there are any indications of bolt impact inside the receiver during cycling. I would definitely think about putting a recoil buffer in it.
Recoil and muzzle blast seemed a lot greater than mine also, BUT mine has a flash hider and that no doubt makes a difference. Did seem more pronounced than the ARs that were being fired.
