I understand the need to keep some factory ammunition around
It's just 'easy' for me to keep a bunch on hand because I got it a long time ago, and I really don't go shooting that often anymore, plus when I do go it's virtually always less than 50 rounds of hardball at a time.
I don't usually mix calibers on such outings, either − or even guns, for that matter − so if I'm shooting a .22 or something else, the .45s are at home in the safe.
Both add up to my .45 ammo lasting me a long, LONG time . . .
But not quite to the point of becoming collector items . . . YET.
