Today I took my pick-up in for repair. Of course there were more things that need to be done to it than I expected. $3K+ worth. Add to that, I had my taxes done last week and I owe the Feds $XXX and California owes me $XXX + $7.Depressing to say the least. But then I sign on here and see Brian's post regarding his son and I think about my friend and her breast cancer, and it puts my piddly little money problems into perspective. Some overtime and a gun sale or two will help the money issues. I only wish it could be that simple for my friends.

Yeah, when it all comes down to it...

Nothing really matters except faith, family and friends. Everything else is pretty minor.

I also owe uncle sugar some more taxes and I'm caught in this government furlough and will be losing 1 work day per week...that's a 20% cut! Then I think many have lost their jobs entirely. My family is healthy and kids are progressing into their own productive lives so I am among the blessed.
