S&W 1006 Rear Sight Compatability...

Have been looking at adjustable rear sights to put on a 1006, but no one seems to list them. Do any of the other 3rd Gen Smiths use the same sight dimensions? Have been looking around online for a site that would provide a cross reference without any luck. Maybe someone could recommend a good sight that would use the original front?

Just thought I would ask the board first, quite often the assembled knowledge here can turn up some nifty alternatives.

I think it was MMC that used to advertise an adjustable to fit the S&Ws. I don't know it they are still in business.

Even though the specs say the original rear sight is a Novak, he did not think it was a standard Novak with a .500" bottom width of the dovetail. He thinks they used a dovetail that was .435" on the bottom and suggested a TPU adjustable rear, (which I think is possibly a replacement for the MMC sights?) though they are on back-order and have been since August.

Thank you to Sixgunner and Bob for your replies.
