Yassah, I been lost, but now I's found...

Smith & Wesson 4" (!) Model 617-1 @ GunBroker

The price might seem like a lot for a 617, but I have been looking for one of these what seems like forever, and the 4" prelock versions are virtually never seen under $1000 anymore.

If it's as good as it looks, I'll be lucky to get it, and very happy to have it.

Sometimes, it 'pays' to stay up past bedtime.

PS: Seven other wandering souls looked at it before I did; betcha they're wishin' they hadn't waited...
