bellyband holsters?

Friend of mine thinks she wants a bellyband holster for jogging. I'm trying to steer her toward a jogging chest holster I've seen. I've never been impressed with bellybands. Anybody ever used one they like?

The gun proceeded to roll out of it at the most inopportune moments. Particularly if I was climbing over/on top of something. I told her if she goes that route to find one with a safety strap. Hate to point out to the young lady but she also has a little of a belly roll which isn't going to be comfortable.

I've used ones by Bianchi and Uncle Mikes both of which were good for what I needed. I never wore them jogging, I carry in a Eagle Industries fanny pack for that. As far as I know neither Bianchi or UM is making the belly bands anymore.

bellyband holsters?

Tom, the best bellyband holster I've ever found comes from Home Depot or Lowes (or Ace Hardware or?). That's right - a back brace - one with the velcro/elastic tension panels on the side that you pull tight after you put it on. I carried that M36 of mine that has the Barami HipGrip on it many times under my shirt and neither you nor anyone else ever knew I had it. You wear it over a t-shirt for comfort, and just shove the gun into the elastic panel on the left side (except for wronghanders like you, of course) with the hook over the top of the elastic. An Uncle Mike's pocket holster with the belt clip cut off makes it even more secure and gives the gun some protection from sweat. Leave one shirt button undone to get to it quick - nobody ever notices that under your tie.

If anyone were to ever notice, I'm just wearin' a back brace on account of my bad back. Mighty comforting when we were dealing with the Haynes boys.

That is a sharp adaptation!
