Via Legion Firearms
Magazines are now limited in that state and it appears Mag Pul is leaving. Final vote 34:31.

Very shameful & foolish of them.

HB 1224 has passed in Colorado. No mags w/more than 15 round

by Murphy @, Monday, February 18, 2013, 13:00 (4242 days ago) @ Rob Leahy

It's time for major gun makers and ammuntion companies to send the word.

Larry Potterfield of Midway U.S.A. notified states who banned hi-caps and assault weapons, it was too complicated for him to keep up. Therefore, he would no longer sell any banned items to be shipped into their state, period. Not to the state, nor LEO agencys.

I hope this is true and many more follow suit. After all, who bought more firearms and ammuntion in any given state last year? Citizens or agency's?

Did it only pass the House?

by Kentucky, Monday, February 18, 2013, 13:31 (4242 days ago) @ Murphy

Has a similar version passed in the Senate?

Has it gone to the Governor for his signature?

Did it only pass the House?

by CJM @, Monday, February 18, 2013, 20:38 (4241 days ago) @ Kentucky

Yes, only the House so far but the Senate and Governor are also Democrat and all the bills are expected to be passed and signed.

My position would be . . .

by Kentucky, Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 11:21 (4241 days ago) @ CJM

. . . that it ain't over 'til it's over, and now is the time for intensified pressure on the senators and governor.

Adopting an attitude of defeatism essentially guarantees defeat.

Never give up.

Sorry, this is just depressing. MN is headed to the same conclusions....

This will do nothing to thwart crime, the next time a spree

by Rob Leahy ⌂ @, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 12:20 (4241 days ago) @ Hoot

killing occurs & a 30 round mag is used, they will blame the neighboring state for "allowing" these mags to exist. Much like NYC blames Virginia's Gun shows for their crime...

I certainly don't want another mass killing, but we all know it will happen either way. That being said I hope the nut uses a Brown Bess and a halberd.

We need effective halberd control.

I seriously doubt

There has ever been a more serious attack on our rights than what we are facing right now. The Democratic Party (AKA Socialist or Communist)has pulled all of the stops, in every state they have a majority at the state level, they are pushing forward with these types of legislation initiatives. Unless the "people" pull their collective heads out, I am thinking I may be an outlaw. We cannot afford to sit back, and we cannot afford to think someone else is going to save us. The Supreme Court has been favorable the last two cases, but after the ruling on Obamacare, I damn sure am not going to rely upon them to snuff this effort to disarm America.

Next time around the South will have the industrial base we didn't have in the 1860's!
