Bullet Casting
MOST of what you are getting is NOT pure lead by a long ways. Almost all jacketed bullets have a hardened lead core of somewhere between 2% to as much as 5% antimony.
After than there can be as many as ten other different elements in it's composition. I've only been casting for 50 years and NEVER needed a hardness tester, but whathe'ell do I know...
