Changing the grip frame on Ruger Superblackhawk..

I know this subject has come up before but I do not remember all that much. I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk, 44 mag. Nice piece but my knuckles don't care for the slam when shooting it with higher loadings. I have a Blackhawk in the bisley configuration (fixed sights) 45 colt that is friendly to my knuckles. I have been thinking it maybe worth while to convert the Super to a Bisley grip configuration.
Mine is S/S. If IIRC one needs all kinds of weird actions to convert one thusly, I would just as soon find some good pistol smith and pay for first rate job. Just curious. ATB............

Kvegone the opposite direction, putting a SBH frame on a standard blackhawk. I also fit a Bisley hammer to the revolver. The Bisley hammer extends back further Ghana a standard of super hammer. That being said, there should be no issues onths hammer/gripframe, but you will have a big gap between the two, at the back of the hammer.

Change the grip frame and the hammer. For me, the SBH hammer is the bees knees, I like it better than the hammer on my Bisley, and I put a SBH hammer on my NM Blackhawk.
