the algorithm doesn't decide you're "iffy" then you are good to go in about 1 minute. "Iffy" generally takes about 30 minutes, as many as have been going through (about 1/3rd are delayed) I imagine we're probably getting into the 1-2 day wait for delayed buyers. Virginia opted out of the national system so that the State Police could get $2.00 a check.

I understand they had over 4200 background checks on Saturday or about 42% more than last year on that date. I know our shop has sold 120 some guns since Friday morning last.
