Triggernometry Therapy

It has been waaay too long since I got up to the range. Fixed that today. The other active members of the club decided on a last get together for the year so we got together. They were talking about 50 meter shooting with the 22, so I borrowed a Model 14-? 6" barrel and had a try. Apparently it shoots high - and does not shoot INDUMIL ammo well at all. Or maybe it's me needing new glasses. Anyway, lackluster performance. Tried a Python, 3" barrel - there seemed to be a lot of fuzz and no front sight. :( Didn't do well. So then I wandered over to where they were playing with a popper and a swinger. Shoot the popper to activate the swinger. Did OK with the PPPPP, but had MORE fun with a Remington semiauto 22 rifle. Loaded up ten rounds, dropped the popper and then ran the contents of the tube into the Alpha zone, with a couple just outside. Well, at least I can still shoot a rifle. :)

There was a new kid there. Helped him get his pellet rifle sights lined up then let him play withthe Baikal IZH 46M a while.

Friends, firearms, fun. A good time was had by all.

Sounds like a great day. The long line is always a wake-up call for me.
