Way off topic - needing new tires
I don't usually have flats with these newer tires...just wear out quick. I'm lucky if I get more than a year on a set. My wife has a Honda CRV that uses some weird tire size and seems like I'm always changing flats for her. They just don't make tires tough enough for these areas and since we can no longer use river gravel due to some endangered species in the Neosho and Cottonwood they use local dry land rock which is nasty stuff, makes the dust a lot worse too.
