Years ago I married a fiesty gal from NYC. She quickly embraced the whole outdoors/freedom lefestyle...

She was asked if she had any firearms at the BLM office in Fairbanks. She quickly replied "No!" and received a 10 minute lecture from two elderly ladies that "It's plan foolish, even disrespectful, to go bumming around in the buch without a means of protecting yourself. Someone's going to have to clean up the mess M'am!" In truth she had already been well aquainted with her trusty Stevens Pump, affectionatly nicknamed "Bertha".
