encouraged us Law Students to do ride alongs so we could see what went on in real police work. I do so several times and carried a Walter PPK (380) every time. Even walked into the jail with it. I felt a little tense, but nobody spotted it.

I did have it fall down my pants leg once and go skittering accross the dance floor once in a Greek (Athens Bar and Grill) joint down on Clinton Avenue near the port. Nobody seemed to care about an extra gun on the floor, so I picked it up and continued to dance. I figured there were lots of guns in that place.
