1911 question beyond my 'just pull the trigger' knowledge
Good guns, though there has been ups and downs in quaility in past years. If everything checks out and the price is right buy it. I just checked Gunbroker, new seems to run from $1759 and up, thats running into Les Baer price range and close to Ed Brown, both of which would be better to purchase over the Valor. Better name, fit, finish and re-sale value. If the price is around $1,100-1,300 by all means jump on it.
I used to have a Valor, really nice gun but I did not like the rear sight and the funky sized dovetail slot that DW used to put on them, limited me to the factory sight only.
If it wasn't for that I would have kept it, would have made a nice addition to the Baers and Kimbers I own.
