My wife's leaving me...
West Texas and New Mexico were my "stompin grounds" for many years. She should be able to fine a nice place there. Cost of living won't be higher than any other place and probably lower as long as you stay out of the big cities, where folks are stacked on top of each other competing for everything including air.
