And the 7 1/2" barrel is the cherry on top. Someday, perhaps, I'll finally get my grubby mitts on one, although I've set my sights on the 38 spl (because I'm weird that way) but will probably end up settling for a 357 mag. I've never owned a 357, so this would be a good place to start I guess. I've been trying to pin down WHY the SAA profile elicits such a visceral reaction every since Miles posted that image, and I really can't pin it down. It just "looks right" somehow.
