It mentioned that Phil was a little 'heavy handed' on his powder dispensing. My main interest is that he wrote about the .280 Ross and there is precious little out there on that cartridge. But too much data is better than none!

I have my grandpa’s 1947 edition but I don’t recall reading it. I just leafed through it a bit, looks interesting.

I have Rifle in America. Amazingly, it was hiding out in a liberal bookstore. I rescued it!

I think he wrote two books; The Rifle in America and Complete Guide to Handloading.

Don't know what was updated in the later editions.

Did he write only the one reloading book? I see there are several editions but there only appears to be one book. I was just reading an article that tells me I need a copy.
